Mindi Abair works hard, plays hard

"Growing up in St. Petersburg, Fla., saxophonist Mindi Abair never jammed in local jazz joints, never wailed till dawn in some smoky, pay-your-dues basement club.
She played in her high school marching band.
"I thought that was a great way to learn how to play and be inspired and stuff," says Abair, who'll pull into Stuart for a Lyric Theatre concert Saturday.
